And our friend Mattr has done a delicate, sublime remix of their newest single April on Tiefblind Records for today's special feature.

AKZENTH creates brightly melodic sounds, but also inspires deep questions about life with darkly atmospheric elements. Cem, Max and Leo went to the same high school in their hometown Nuremberg where they got to know each other and over time, mutually developed their shared musical passion.

In early 2020, they recorded an evening jam session with a cello and guitar as a voice memo on their phone. It took a few days before they realized, why not make an actual song of it? They recorded cello and guitar and mixed it up with some drums and effects to provide the final energy of the composition.

The title of their first song 'Es Kommt Wies Kommt' (it comes how it comes) expresses the idea that sometimes things happen spontaneously. And sometimes it's a great idea to record memos of those special moments.
