A warm welcome back to Marseille nu-disco label Ravanelli Disco Club, which returns to stores after a near 18-month hiatus. The occasion is a first vinyl missive from Did Virgo - an artist who has featured on the imprint before - and guest Mickey L'Ange. The pair's original mix, a suitably clandestine and basement-ready affair, sits somewhere between alien-sounding nu-disco and sleazy acid house. It comes backed by a trio of remixes, with Black Spuma's sparkling, synth-heavy re-make being followed by a deliciously low-slung, percussion-rich J Kriv revision and Marc Brauner's rave-igniting tech-house take. While none of the remixes are particularly revolutionary, they're all highly playable.
