We’re back with GNC Record’s digital series with a split EP from Omen and Intruso, producers and colleagues based in Barcelona. ‘Explosiones Programadas’ is made of a combination of peaktime heavy hitters and deep timeless after hours tracks, that captivate the dancefloor through ascending mental sounds that disintegrate, leaving space for something new to emerge, insisting that calmness and chaos are not always in conflict and that they can coexist as parts of the same universe.

The release begins with two tracks from Intruso, the first one brings resonant synthesizers and immersive atmospheres that are ideal for a peaktime moment at the club. The second one, a collaboration with Ludviq, has broken rhythms, unexpected turns and rogue synths which generate a state of metallic trance, building up upon the previous track.

The narrative continues with three tracks from Omen, the first one with a higher tempo and powerful breakbeats, along with deep sounds and hypnotic vocals that tell the dancefloor to remain calm, overlapping harmonically with the intense drum patterns. The second track goes even deeper, with a timeless downtempo groove that blends itself with reverberating atmospheres and looped samples that disintegrate themselves, leaving space for new sounds to surface. Finally, the EP comes to an end with house drum patterns and spontaneous one-shots, building up intensity again and leaving the dancefloor just on point for the session to continue.
