Melvin Spix returns to Unrilis with a hypnotic techno EP that fuses raw sounds and dystopian atmosphere.

This is Melvin Spix third time releasing on Unrilis, and it features three of his original tracks, which fuse analogue synths and fast-paced percussion to create dynamic grooves with industrial undertones.

Based in the Netherlands, Melvin Spix is a drummer turned techno producer, and this skillset is on full display within the intricate rhythms utilised in his tracks. His music can also be found on other respected imprints ranging from Hertz's Sway to Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains.

"Just the Beat" opens the release with its namesake vocal layered with crunching textures and industrial drums. Next up, the title track "Passion" combines eerie suspense and relentless drums to create an immersive groove that oozes tension. "No Way Back" closes the release with rhythmic synth stabs and brutal claps layered over a rolling bassline.
