Mutant Volt emerges from the depths of the underworld with 'Bona Vista', a six track EP built from unreleased DAT recordings made during the early 90s. Drawn from a vast archive, much of the material had been long forgotten, written at a time when electronic music moved fast and rarely looked back.

An alias of Dan Piu, Mutant Volt was used to explore a stripped, machine driven sound shaped by early trance structures and bleep influence. Recorded on a hardware setup that has changed little since 1991, these tracks were made instinctively and left behind to gather dust... until now!

Today these tracks carry a different kind of weight. What was once made quickly and left behind now feels immediate - proof that some music doesn't belong to the past, it simply arrives there first. ⏱️
