“Four Fundamental States of Matter” is a debut EP for the Lithuanian producer Purple. While each piece is a different “state of matter”, Purple lets the listener to decide which one is which, individually.

Gentle but uncertain currents of water, warm but not constant gusts of wind, solid and clearly visible objects, exotic but untouchable plasmic phenomenons happens around us everyday. But life itself is no different than those states surrounding us. It can feel liquified - unpredictable and shapeless; flowing but having no particular destination. Solid and tangible, giving us first hand experiences. Life can feel like it's disappearing and evaporating, no longer being visible. But sometimes it expands and opens up to us under unusual conditions. Life opens to us if we open ourselves to it.
