London’s La bonne musique welcomes label veteran Scaefa for his latest release, for a 2 track euphoric, club-ready EP, inspired by the darker and more downtempo side of jungle, drum & bass, acid house and rave.

“Trying to find an intersection between the classic sounds of labels like Metalheadz, and the driving trance and techno influences of labels like Neptune Discs felt like an exciting area to explore. They’re definitely intended for the club - I wanted to make sure they were upfront and in your face, whilst still having plenty of atmosphere, nostalgia and delicate moments weaved in too. It was fun to take pieces from various moments of dance music history and try to turn those into something new.” - Scaefa
