This '70s weepy features a Palladino-esque heroine, Robert Redford in a cable knit sweater, heartache, laugher, and Communism all in one neat package! We discuss the cultural changes in parenting since the 1970s, why the Gilmores reference this movie several times in the series, and, yes, Robert Redford in that cable knit sweater.
