Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters. 

In this episode, we will give you practical applications on how to become more prepared. We will lay out a plan for you on how to be more prepared and how being prepared will help you create a winning mindset and achieve success. 

Practical applications: 

  • If you are preparing for something and still feel like your confidence is low, you didn’t spend enough time preparing. 

 

  • Don’t mix up confidence for cockiness. Arrogance won’t get you anywhere except last in line. Confidence built by preparation creates a winning mindset.

 

  • When preparing in the work setting, think like your boss. What would my boss say or do at this moment? Preparation will help answer those questions


  • Finally, begin using self-discipline in order to prepare better. Make yourself sit down and focus your attention on what it is you want to achieve.

  3. Set aside the time to prepare
  4. Have an open mind
  5. Prioritize the short term tasks
  6. Pencil in the things you want to do, but don’t have to do
