Until you prepare your heart, you cannot seek the Lord with your whole heart. Unless you seek the Lord with all your heart, you will not be able to carry out His will and His word. Furthermore, you should only teach what you have practiced and not the other way round. I believe that the pattern should be to preach and teach what you practice and not the converse.
