Fiona and Ian, names that will be retired in the book, causing significant damage and loss of life across the Caribbean and Eastern coast of North America.  If you live in one of these areas that can be struck by a hurricane, here is some preparedness advice.  First, your finances - what is your employer's plan if your place of work is no longer available post hurricane.  This is your source of income and will affect everything.  If you might lose your employment, what is your plan to earn an income elsewhere?
How do you intend to cook without power?  Purify water?  911 will simply not be available for up to a week or more.  What is your plan to address the situations you may normally call 911 for?
