RC012 Preparing Educators to be Transformational Change Agents with Dr. Jill Alexa Perry
Dr. Jill Alexa Perry is the Executive Director at Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED). She is a Professor of the Practice, Administrative and Policy Studies, University of Pittsburg.
Her research focuses on professional doctorate preparation and education, organizational change in higher education and faculty leadership roles. Dr. Perry's publications have appeared in Planning and Changing Journal, Journal of School Public Relations, Innovation in higher Education as well as several books and practitioner journals.
Dr. Perry is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she received her Ph.D in International Education Policy. She holds an MA in Higher Education Administration and an BA in Spanish and International Studies from Boston College.
She has over twenty years of experience in leadership and program development in education and teaching experience at the elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels in the US and abroad. She is Fulbright Scholar and return Peace Corps volunteer.
