The church is a barrier-breaking organization. At least, that is the purpose we hear in the Book of Acts. Rules are broken. Traditions are violated. All of this happens for the sake of the gospel of Jesus. This week's passage breaks barriers of race and culture as an unexpected man becomes a follower of Jesus.
