While celebrating the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays can be some of the most special times of the year, they can also be some of the most stressful times of the year when walking into difficult family dynamics. Susannah and her sister-in-law, Cara Berkman, talk about thinking through and preparing your heart for family relationships ahead of time and being open to seasons of change.

Cara was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Texas Christian University. She has been married to her husband, Lance Berkman, former MLB player, for over twenty-five years. While Lance played baseball for fifteen years, Cara held down the fort raising their four beautiful girls. She loves to disciple and lead Bible studies for women of all ages while investing deeply in their lives. She is a wealth of wisdom, joy, and deep connection for all those who know her!
