In this episode, I get into something that doesn't get talked about enough in the exit planning conversation: the heart behind the decision. Before the strategy, the valuation, and the deal terms, there's a person. And if that person hasn't done the inner work, no amount of preparation on paper will make a transition feel right.
So what does it actually look like to prepare your heart for a business transition? I walk through the things I've seen trip people up, and the anchors that keep you steady when everything around you is changing.
