First off, if your agent has a professional relationship with the Realtors representing the sellers, that familiarity can help move a sale in a positive direction, just by being there to talk things over.
Secondly, although it’s rare, there is always a possibility a seller might want to know a little bit about who might be buying their home, especially if the home is in a residential area. Being there in person means your Realtor can perhaps assuage any concerns.
Presenting in person doesn’t guarantee you’ll win the house, but any advantage in a heated market as we’re seeing here in Barrie is worth the time.
