Chitra Peña is Gujurati and her husband is Puerto Rican. We talk about relationship dynamics, understanding our parents, creating new traditions, the similarities between both cultures, raising kids, and more. Her "IndoRican" daughters inspired her to create TaariMaa, a collection of language learning board books, toys, and dolls for Gujurati and Spanish speaking households.
