In this sermon, “Press On,” we walk through Philippians 3 and are reminded that the Christian life is not about perfection but progress. Paul, who had accomplished more than most of us ever will, still said he had not arrived. Instead, he chose to press on toward the purpose for which Christ took hold of him. We are challenged to live with holy discontentment, to stay humble and hungry, and to refuse to let our past define us. We can learn from yesterday, but we cannot live there. Our sins are forgiven. Our successes are behind us. What God has for us is not in the rearview mirror.Do not quit. Do not drift. Press on and finish well.
