In a moment of serendipity, while visiting with a friend attending the 2023 Houston Horror Film Fest who was there exclusively to see Billy Zane, a woman sat next to me and started saying the most interesting things I’d heard all day. Terms like “scream queen” (in the context of actually being one) aren’t the kinds of things that one hears in the course of normal conversation, and if you know me at all, then you know that I needed to know more. So, I asked. And asked. And was probably rude to my other friend. And then asked if she was interested in appearing on the podcast. To my delight, she was. Anjanette, my new friend from the world of B-movies, jotted down some info and places I could find her work and we were all set.
