When Jesus rode on a donkey into Jerusalem, which we know of as Palm Sunday, there was no turning back for Him. Jesus always kept His eyes on the prize. He pressed on, even though pain, discomfort, and suffering awaited Him. Not only would Jesus fulfill prophetic history, He would also fulfill His story. He was more concerned with the things of the Father, than His very own life. This is why we celebrate who Jesus is. Jesus never looked back, He pressed on because He knew the end of the story.
