Topic: "The pressures of getting married because you’re pregnant”

Sharing our own opinions as this happens often within the Pacific Island community - where it’s expected for you to marry the mother or father of your child even if you both don’t want to. And it is one of those things that no one really wants to talk about because it’s a taboo topic and so called shameful so rather than doing what’s best for the child, many pressures are focused on the opinions of others which is solely based on religious and cultural views.
