Listen Later

As the so called “month of love” limps towards the finish line, we decided to lean in. February has Valentine’s Day in it, which legally makes it romantic. I checked. Probably.

So for our second ever Director’s Circle, we’re discussing one of the greatest love stories ever put on screen. Tender. Sweeping. Devastating. The kind of film that leaves you staring at a wall afterwards while a song quietly ruins your evening.

Yes, we’re diving headfirst into Brokeback Mountain, directed by the endlessly versatile Ang Lee.

Expect deep analysis, restrained sobbing, and at least one of us pretending we’re emotionally fine when we absolutely are not.

As always, thank you for your generous support. You are the reason this train continues to barrel down the tracks at full cinematic speed. Next stop: feelings. Lots of feelings.
