How do vacant spaces become vibrant places for cities and neighborhoods - and how do they become vibrant for everyone?

Alan Mallach is a city planner, advocate and writer with decades of experience in housing, economic development and urban revitalization.

Now a senior fellow at the Center for Community Progress in Washington, Alan will visit Chattanooga later this month as the next guest for CIVIQ, the speaker series from Chattanooga Design Studio.

His talk - “Growth for Whom? (Inequity and Urban Change)” - is Thursday, September 26th, starting at 5:30 PM at the downtown Chattanooga Public Library.
