Now that we've built the strong resume, how can candidates build a successful search path?

A very important but not used method is to target a job search.

Instead of using a scatter process, that is applying for every job, a candidate will focus on specific companies and industries. The candidates will complete thorough company and industry research, gathering information that can be utilized not only on a resume and cover letter, but also just to strengthen their interviews.

Knowing what you want to do and where you want to work makes an impressive candidate.

You'll also hear about transferable skills and the role they play in a job search. We discuss the critical importance of networking and most importantly, the role of social media, the dos and don'ts, and why social media, like LinkedIn, is such a valuable tool.
