The very first White House Easter Egg Roll was introduced by President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1878, and has been a longstanding tradition since. Deputy White House Secretary Anna Kelly joins WGN Radio’s Dave Plier to talk about the history of this event and preview this year’s roll happening on Monday, April 21st.
