The federal government will try and make home ownership an actual possibility with changes afoot in today’s budget, affecting supply, demand and regulation.  We get the latest from Global National Ottawa Correspondent Abigail Bimman.
Canada’s top public servant Michael Wernick has resigned just weeks after he was accused of pressuring Jody Wilson Raybould to intervene in the SNC Lavalin case. In his resignation letter, Wernick says there was ‘no path’ for him to have a mutual relationship with the opposition in the upcoming election.  WE get a rundown from a former special assistant to Jean Chretien.
Adding to the controversy surrounding the Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes is a recent report from The Seattle Times newspaper, which says that the FAA delegated government-required safety inspections to Boeing employees themselves.  Does the FAA meet its oversight duties which are meant to be in place to keep us safe in the skies?
