The Bible tells us that pride sets our course for bad things. Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." James reminds us that God gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud and Jesus tells us that those who humble themselves will be exalted but those who exalt themselves will be humbled. We're going to see all these warnings lived out in the life of a man named Haman, a man who navigates his life by arrogance and pride.
