Pride and Providence (Esther #2)

Listen Later

Main Text: Esther
Simple outline:
We’re in a mini-series on the Book of Esther. This week we’re looking at a pair of important characters in the story: Haman and Mordecai.
Haman was the king’s right hand man—and he expected everyone to bow to him in reverence.
Mordecai was a nobody who refused to bow to Haman, but he was God’s nobody.
Haman decided to have Mordecai and all his people killed. But God intervened, showing once again that God opposes the proud.
