Very few cosmic psychology books address the malignant spiritual pathology of pride. Pride is inherent in the human heart and its institutions.  Pride is more that morbid self-interent.  Pride is more that pathology.  It is an ontological way of being for humanity dead in trespasses and sins.  It is only through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus that we can be freed from the morbid ontology of pride.  Paul uses the word ontology in his letter to the Church of Ephesus when writing about what we were before we were saved.
