Happy pride month from us at A Coming of Age Movie! If you didn’t know, Julia is bisexual and took this episode to talk to you all about what pride month means to her. She talked about her coming out stories, how she feels about representation in the media, and her opinions on different stereotypes and issues in the community.

She also got a little deep and talked about the history and development of the LGBTQIA+ community, and why it’s so important to educate yourself. (“Privilege is learning your history in a history class, while mine is an elective”). Julia hopes that anyone who may have negative or unsure feelings toward the LGBTQIA+ community finishes this episode with a better understanding. Happy pride month to all!
