We sit down with Rachael Brister, Executive Director of the Provincetown Business Guild (PBG), and learn why the official Provincetown Pride and visibility still matters in “the queerest place on earth.” Comedian Kristen Becker tells us how she founded Summer of Sass, a nonprofit that relocates vulnerable LGBTQ+ 18–20-year-olds out of hostile hometowns into summer housing and jobs in P-town and preaches about the atheists and Christians attending her “Loosen the Bible Belt” tour— and Sasser Salem opens up about Summer of Sass, leaving Atlanta, finding chosen family, and what it’s really like starting gender-affirming hormone therapy. We also catch up with drag performer Preston Seymour (aka Sutton Lee Seymour) of the Art House, celebrating 20 years and debuting his new show, Super Ma’am.
