PRIESTHOOD AND PRAYER. SESSION 4


According to the law of first mentioned, there is a value standard and principle established, such that whenever we need to find the heart of the Father regarding anything as ordained to the order of life, we go back and search such order first established. We are told to search for the ancient path, for there, we will find rest for our soul. 


There was a priesthood in Adam, the first of man created by God. And in Joseph, the father of Jesus, there was a priesthood. Priesthood is the function of a redemptive or intercessory activity that brings the counsels of heaven to bear in time.  Within our priestly mandate, there is a default resource of provision, and I am referring to provision way beyond money, which is highly needed but should not be desired out of context. 


Knowledge, wisdom, insight, strength, courage, faith, and many others alike are parts of the inclusion of the grace assigned to our priestly callings. When we function skillfully within the framework of our assigned mandate, the direction of heaven's provision at each interval of such ministry mandate will flow towards us. The grace of God within each of our priestly calling are bottomless provisions to carry out what the grace was assigned for. 


The availability of Joseph to the prophetic program of his heavenly Father's purpose provided all the necessary requirements and provisions to effectively represent the counsel of heaven. You will notice how wise men and shepherds located Joseph and his wife while they were in a Manger. When we are taught to identify heaven’s plan and counsel our lives in the place of an effective prayer relationship, many of the things we are running after become a given. 


Every man carries a dimension of priestly function beyond the assignment of being a male; part of the default constitution of man is to provide. This provision goes way beyond finance, it is a provision of vision that brings direction or leads towards heaven’s plan for his life and household. Financial provision is due to the identification of the (type) unique priestly ministry we have been given. Our availability towards the instruction and direction of God leads to the forms of directions and provision needed in carrying out our assigned priestly ministry.
