Worldwide demand for battery production projected to exceed 1.5 TWh by 2028, it's critical that there's a viable option available for creating a secondary source of critical materials from the rapidly growing volume of spent Li-ion batteries, that's needed to fuel the global transition toward electrification and e-mobility.
