In spite of their best intentions, Quincy and Kay's attempts to start the show right goes immediately off the rails. They course correct and do a recap of 2008, the year Iron Man was released, which leads to a discussion about the portrayal of diverse characters during that time, an appreciation of The Rock, a tangent on Britney Spears, and a big lightbulb moment for Quincy when she realizes who Jon Favreau is. When Quincy tells Kay she has five things on her face, Kay's brain breaks a little.
