Priority & Preparedness

Much maligned and misused, the word priority does not have a plural. This is a principal rule in preparedness, that you cannot have multiple priorities, you have many tasks that you're undertaking, but there can only ever be one priority - you may shift it upon review, but that is your main effort, the thing that will take resources away from all your other plans and activities. It is reviewed as part of your monthly preparedness plan review, but you never have more than one.
Personal health is #1 in preparedness. You're required to provide the animalistic requirements for you and those for whom you're responsible - food, water, shelter, health, safety and security - and take care of your personal health. You are required to generate an income to provide those. Full stop. Everything else is voluntary.
We discuss goal setting and the IMCH 3 column method, having a plan for each of the nine elements of personal health and the six elements of animalistic requirements.
Of those 15 plans, each with a three column metric, one is your priority.
Brilliance.
