Police arrested a 17-year-old high school student in connection with a hate-motivated murder charge. The fatal stabbing of a 28-year-old professional dancer occurred during an altercation between two groups of friends at a New York City gas station last weekend.The teenager was taken into custody on Friday for the killing of O’Shae Sibley, a 28-year-old gay individual. The defendant's name has not been released by the authorities."Parents lost a child, a child, to something that was clearly a hate crime," stated Mayor Eric Adams, a former police captain, during a news conference outside the Brooklyn gas station where the incident took place on July 29.
