Given that "Prisoner of War" is a Scott Adkins film, I didn't need much convincing to watch it. Although I had never heard of the movie before, I assumed that if Scott Adkins was involved, it would be worth my time.

Writers Scott Adkins and Marc Clebanoff crafted a fairly simple script and plot. While it leaned towards the basic side, it remained an enjoyable and entertaining film.
