Privacy in the digital age is a tough one. Traveling with a smart phone turned on? Your wireless carrier knows where you are. Making a purchase online? Someone knows your purchasing preferences. Secretly like watching YouTube videos? Google knows all of your favorites.
True privacy these days means totally unplugging. If you have a networked device using a Virtual Private Network, the people running that know where you are and what you're searching on still. How much information do you want out there? That's up to you, but if you're connected to a network information about you is going to be "out there."
