One of the greatest privileges of being a Christian is that we can come before Him. Many others have idols they bow down to but they are only idols and nothing more. Prior to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, animals were given as a blood sacrifice and only the priest could go before God in the temple. After Christ gave His life for our sins as the ultimate sacrifice then we can now go before God boldly. When the veil was opened not only did it allow anyone to look in and walk around, it opened the door for God to be let for the rest of the world, everyone. God was preparing a new way for sinners to be saved and when Jesus was crucified the new way was complete. It's difficult to explain how God presence can engulf a believer in any place at any time. It's hard to comprehend that God is always around and is always in our presence. Our first privilege is that God would allows us to be in His presence. God sent Himself as a man to earth to live as a man, feel pain as a man, die as a man and to take upon Himself every sin that would ever be committed. The difference between God and all of those other gods is that God is alive. Our other privilege as a Christian is that we have a mediator that is always there and does not require a blood sacrifice each time we go to the God.
