The University of Lausanne (UNIL) is setting up privileged partnerships with a limited number of universities. Such a partnership was signed with Lancaster University in 2015. In this context a summit was organized in June 2016 on the topic of responsible future. Scholars from various fields of study, including English literature and linguistics, geosciences and environmental studies as well as business and management gathered in Lausanne to exchange on mutual research interests and to elaborate innovating collaborative projects benefiting students and academic staff from both institutions. The partnership covers teaching, research and university governance.
