Thank you Angela B. Spragg for your generous nomination for #PersonBehindThePassion! To me, you are a kind and loving soul and a very genuine human being. I appreciate this great honor. I consider myself to be the kind of person who is always trying to better myself and find the good in every situation  by helping others heal and showing them the good in themselves that they refuse to see. The passion I am currently pursuing in my life is helping cancer survivors share their stories and the truth about life after treatments because very often people think once treatments are over life is back to normal for survivors, but it’s quite the opposite. Our journey only begins after the last treatment as we are having to figure out life all over again and live with side effects that remind us daily of the battle we have fought and will continue to for the rest of our time on this earth. The impact I intend to make in the world is through my LIVE story telling platform to help someone’s story to become part of someone else’s survival guide because I want to give hope to others who may be starting on this unfortunate journey of cancer or even just fighting a battle that really tests our strength as a person. The people that have inspired me to pursue this passion are the amazing cancer survivors I have met along my journey because they need to know they are special and that the world needs them to live their purpose and make this world a better place.
