Dealing with a stalker is a confusing and emotional ordeal.  While this person’s behavior makes us uncomfortable and we want to stop it, we often try to let them down gently.  We try to save their face, meaning that we try to avoid embarrassing them.  When that doesn’t work, we try to tell them directly that we are not interested, thinking that a clear communication should do the job. It feels bad, scary, when these basic strategies don’t work, but we’re still worried that we are overreacting.  Today, I’m going to answer some of the questions I’ve received and provide some practical information about responding to stalkers.  None of it is perfect, unfortunately, and there are no easy answers, but there are some steps people can take if they want to assertively deal with a stalker.   Promo: Mugshots https://www.spreaker.com/show/mugshot   Facebook Page:  https://www.facebook.com/targetedpodcast/ Facebook Group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/TargetedPodcast/ website:  www.targetedpodcast.com email:     [email protected] Twitter:  @targetedpodcast   Merchandise: We have two store now! https://targetedpodcast.threadless.com         https://www.teepublic.com/user/targetedpodcast   Resources in the US:   Need help?
