St. Louis’ new MLS franchise still needs a name. The league has said fan input is encouraged. The XFL, though? The St. Louis team has a name. And fan input has been pouring in; only, it’s too late. Keep in mind, the XFL owns the local football team. This is their deal. And that new name? The BattleHawks. One word; two capital letters. The team slogan: “cleared to engage.” Problem is it seems like some fans are enraged. A common complaint? It sounds too much like Blackhawks; and those guys are not too popular around here.
