Our guest is Jennifer Washington, who was so kind to share her bio with us.  Ms. Washington is a recovering abortive mother, and her story is dynamic and well worth knowing about.

My name is Jennifer Washington.  Along with that work, I speak and coordinate healing retreats for people that are Post Abortive. I completed the filming of my very first documentary film about ‘Conversations about Abortion’ which is in the editing phase at this present time. I am writing a book as well along with my first experience with blogging. My healing was about a year ago when I attended a Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat. I came away from that experience, totally healed and set free. Although, I understand that healing happens on levels. I was told by a very wise person that ‘you know that you’ve repented and received healing after abortion, when you can openly speak about it and it’s no longer a big secret to hide.’ That’s what I do now…speak openly about my story in hopes that it will bring about awareness and that once the compartment is opened, God will grant the gift of repentance and then healing can flow. I have a son that is in Heaven, he would be 28 years old and I have a daughter that is 19 years old that is in college.  I believe that the more healing and restoration happens in lives and testimonies are shared…we can make abortion unthinkable for civilized people.
