Today, PLF will be interviewing pro-life blogger Jonathon Van Maren, who is Communications Director for the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. Jonathon will be discussing Andrew Breitbart, the future of pro-life media, and The Genocide Awareness Project.
From his bio:
Jonathon Van Maren became convicted about the issue of abortion after viewing online one of CCBR’s graphic videos, This is Abortion. Following that, he gave a number of pro-life presentations, employing graphic images, to church youth groups. In 2008, he joined Simon Fraser University’s pro-life club, SFU Students for Life, where he led it as president in 2009-10.
For his writing in 2009-10, he was recognized by the Vancouver Hillel Foundation with The Irv Epstein B’nai Brith Award for Achievement in Combating Hatred and Defamation. He was also a 2010 nominee for the Community Leadership Award from the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students.
Jonathon graduated from Simon Fraser University in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He is Communications Director with the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform.
