This Public Forum took place in Coral Gables Florida. It's purpose is to spotlight the narrative of Palestine and educate the audience as to what is happening in Palestine. A country that practices apartheid against its native inhabitants, Palestinian perspectives are frequently excluded and erased in mainstream media platforms. Palestinian scholar Dr. Ghumrawi shares an oral history and insider knowledge with the audience about the history of Palestine, how Palestinian people have struggled, and the current humanitarian crisis and oppression of Palestinians. This is history that is difficult to find in history books, headlines, and newspapers.
