Greetings from Plano, Tx. We are Redemption Church and my name is Chris Fluitt.

I want to greet everyone who came to worship with us in person and everyone who logged in to receive some good news online.

We are in the 2nd week of our series.

Problem Solver

Last week we talked about healing our problems.

I am equipped to talk to you today… not because I am an expert problem solver… but I am a problem expert.

I have problems

Don’t feel bad. You are not alone.

I am here today to solve my problems…

Life is full of problems. We need to be problem solvers.
Success is solving problems.

Problem Solver
What if your problem is you are…

Rescue is a problem solver.

Financial rescue.

Global things out of our control.

Someone is out to get you.

Rescue from danger.

Rescue from my own decisions.

I am afraid that I will die in this condition

If you have thought this, then you need rescue.

I Need Rescue

There is something in each of our lives that we need rescue from.

Confess it!
Own it!

NECESSARY STEP!

Guilt & Shame…

Rescue and redemption stories make the best stories.

Rescue Requires a Plan

Rescue movies and shows.. Shawshank Redemption, The great escape, Escape from Alcatraz, prison break.

It takes a plan!  NOT MAGIC! Practical.

We need more than a desire to escape our problem. We need knowledge.

Proverbs 19:2 (NIV) Desire without knowledge is not good— how much more will hasty feet miss the way!

Your rescue is going to involve knowledge, skill, growth, and wisdom.
Next week – Guidance solves problems.

You need a PLAN THAT WORKS.
You need to WORK THAT PLAN.

Mathew 8:23-27
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

A problem bigger than you can solve

Your big problem can teach you about Jesus.

Jesus is a problem solver

I would not tell you this, except that I have experienced the help of Jesus.
