Who needs ethics? At a time when truth is vilified, false news is made real, and we find division and difference accentuated on the human path to a sustainable future, we must ask if there is any such thing as morality or ethics left in the world? Do parents need ethics? Do leaders need ethics? What does it mean to be an ethical person in a time of crisis? Professional ethicist, Lawyer, mother, and proud Latina, Alexandra Olmos Perez helps us dive deep into these questions and how to find our personal answers. We touch on some sensitive and personal topics and the whole conversation evolves into some powerful reflections and conclusions.
Alexandra Olmos Pérez, LL.B, MSc, Ph.D., is an ethicist working for the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), providing consultation services through the Ethics Department.
