Luke 10:1-16

Main Idea—Missionary disciples proclaim the Savior because the consequences of gospel unbelief are eternal. Luke continues to show us what it means to follow the Savior whose face is set to Jerusalem. We get a further understanding to what this followership means by witnessing what Jesus says to seventy-two ordinary missionary disciples who go proclaiming the Savior’s kingdom. The actions of missionary disciples are fueled by the fact that there are eternal consequences to gospel unbelief.
