Procrastination is the act of delaying and postponing things. People procrastinate for various reasons, sometimes because they are afraid of failing at a task or something they need to accomplish. Procrastination can significantly interfere with our day-to-day life, if not well managed. Although many procrastinators understand their problem and have adapted ways to manage it, procrastination can cause stress, anxiety, depression and even attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is therefore important to not allow yourself to spiral into the unhealthy procrastination cycle.
